How Far a Buck Goes in Every State

Buck.jpg

The Tax Foundation calculated how far a dollar goes in every U.S. state based on factors like food and housing. It turns out (and this will shock you) that it’s way more expensive to live in New York, where I voluntarily dwell for some reason, than in Oklahoma, where everyone smiles a lot and owns their own laundry machine. A dollar will get you the least amount of stuff in Washington, D.C. Please do not forward this blog to Senator Chuck Schumer, who I am confident upon reading it, will try to come up with one of his “solutions” to even out the dollar. He’s the kind of guy who would legislate the value of Pi in order to increase American high school math scores.
